WHAT IS SCUBA FABRIC?

Air layer fabric, also known as spacer fabric or 3D mesh fabric, is a type of textile that consists of two outer layers of fabric connected by a mesh or foam layer. The inner layer creates a three-dimensional space or air pocket between the two outer layers, which provides several benefits, including increased breathability, moisture-wicking, and insulation.The popular Neoprene (or Chloroprene rubber) substance has a fashionable offshoot called Scuba. A type of double knit fabric typically composed of poly and some other stretchy fiber like Lycra or Spandex. The fine gauge thread and silky finish make this an excellent fabric.

The air layer allows for better ventilation and airflow, making it ideal for use in athletic apparel, such as sportswear and activewear. The breathable nature of air layer fabric also makes it suitable for use in bedding and mattress materials, as it helps regulate body temperature and improve comfort during sleep.

Stitches

There are many stitches choices for wetsuit. Flatlock is normal, pretty and cheaper. Some higher grade normally uses glued+tape or liquid. Almost all kinds of seams are available.
